Client brief
We are a SAAS company that gives online sellers insight into their sales, products, customers, and profitability. Our sellers may sell on online marketplaces like Ebay, Etsy, or Amazon, or they may sell on their own web site.
We connect to their data systems to get full detail on the seller's past sales. We then process this information into a dashboard and gives sellers insights, from simple daily numbers to more complex longer-term predictions. For example we tell them: -- What were your best sellers today -- How much money did you make today -- What are you out of and what do you need to re-order -- What products did you used to sell, that you no longer sell, and why -- What is the optimal price for a product, given what others are selling it for
One of the things we'd like for a name is something that sounds great, and will be something we are proud to say at tradeshows, etc.
Also, one of our big wishes for a name is that it flows naturally into naming sub-products. We have a number of different products - and we'd like to have a naming scheme that works both as a name and for product names. For example, if our site was "SellerKing.com", we could name our sub-products "Supplier King," "Pricing King," etc. We also need something that is easy to use in documentation: "If you set up X, then the King will process that for you" type of thing.
But overall we just want a great name.
Thank you for looking at our contest - we are very excited to see what you come up with!

Naming tips for Analytics for online sellers
Keep it pronounceable
A good business name should be easy to say out loud and spell from memory. If you have to spell it out every time you say it, it will slow down word-of-mouth growth.
.com still beats clever TLDs
Despite hundreds of new extensions, .com remains the most trusted TLD for professional brands. Customers default to typing .com - pick a .com name whenever possible.
Avoid trademark traps
Before you register, run a quick trademark search to make sure the name is clear in your industry. Similar names in the same category can lead to costly disputes later.
Test it in a sentence
Say "I work at [name]" or "Check us out at [name].com" out loud. The name should sound natural, confident, and memorable in everyday conversation.
