Pattern Recognition Algorithm for Financial Markets Name Ideas

Browse 77 name ideas from 13 naming experts, or describe your own idea to generate names instantly.

Client brief

Our product is a market scanner which allows a user to find patterns in financial markets (stocks, bonds, forex, futures). The app will change and improve the way people view and make decisions in financial markets.

The name doesn't necessarily have to be related to the finance category.

Every idea is welcome. We are looking for something special, cool and modernish. Something that is easy to pronounce, something everyone can remember and never forget! We also want to use it as the name of the algorithm that does the pattern recognition.

The name needs to be available as .com and most others.

We would like to see both brandable and memorable names as well as names with a few words that explicitly suggest what the app is about, ie "MapMyRun"

Tips for choosing a great business name

Keep it pronounceable

A good business name should be easy to say out loud and spell from memory. If you have to spell it out every time you say it, it will slow down word-of-mouth growth.

.com still beats clever TLDs

Despite hundreds of new extensions, .com remains the most trusted TLD for professional brands. Customers default to typing .com - pick a .com name whenever possible.

Avoid trademark traps

Before you register, run a quick trademark search to make sure the name is clear in your industry. Similar names in the same category can lead to costly disputes later.

Test it in a sentence

Say "I work at [name]" or "Check us out at [name].com" out loud. The name should sound natural, confident, and memorable in everyday conversation.
