We are looking for a new name for our online UK web based TV player, which enables our viewers to watch live TV broadcasts for free. The service provides multiple channels in one place, effectively bringing the traditional television set experience to web connected devices including PCs, laptops and mobile. Our current target market is university students living in halls of residences (dorms in college), but may expand to the open internet. Regardless, we are looking for a young and catchy name.
The service is also set to offer Video on Demand content in the future as well as live content. In the UK, you must go to different broadcasters sites to watch the live feed or vod content related to that broadcaster. There are next to no solutions which offer cross-broadcaster live and Video on demand content within the UK -- especially with cross-broadcaster content exploration, searching and discovery. Despite video on demand offerings, the service will be focused primarily on live broadcasts.
The service is further beneficial to students as they don't have to buy a TV and can just use our service anywhere via their laptop and internet connection.
