Client brief
Looking for a name for my upcoming jewelry e-commerce site. The site will be selling middle to high end jewelry but at affordable pricing. I'm going after the same demographic that gilt, fab, gemvara, and tiffanys goes after.
Women between the ages of 18-34 are the primary target.
The premise of the site is that jewelry is being manufactured and branded by us, so that there is no middle man involved (look at warby parker's model), which leads to excellent jewelry at great pricing.
My site is going to look really good and as such the name of the site should also reflect the high quality and design of our site and brand.
The name should be catchy, but not cheap or gimmicky. It should roll off tongues and you should imagine people being able to say "I got this piece from (sitename).com"
Remember this is a luxury industry, so use that to help you. Elegance in the name is key....don't make it catchy for the sake of being catchy.
NOTE: Just because I listed the names I like does not mean you should use them. Don't try and and set me up for a lawsuit please.

Naming tips for Jewelry e-commerce
Keep it pronounceable
A good business name should be easy to say out loud and spell from memory. If you have to spell it out every time you say it, it will slow down word-of-mouth growth.
.com still beats clever TLDs
Despite hundreds of new extensions, .com remains the most trusted TLD for professional brands. Customers default to typing .com - pick a .com name whenever possible.
Avoid trademark traps
Before you register, run a quick trademark search to make sure the name is clear in your industry. Similar names in the same category can lead to costly disputes later.
Test it in a sentence
Say "I work at [name]" or "Check us out at [name].com" out loud. The name should sound natural, confident, and memorable in everyday conversation.
