Client brief

Hello! My mom is awesome. She organizes a lot of events centered around helping those that are in need or critically-ill which can involve raising money, making blankets, collecting goods, etc.. She is starting another project where she would like to thank those who work in public service such as healthcare workers, firefighters, police by raffling off tickets for her famous "brownie cookies" every month and delivering them to the stations or hospitals. We would like some ideas for creative names for a Facebook page that will host this raffle. In return, we'll give a thanks on our page for your help with the name. Her name is Margaret and they are the world famous brownies cookies. Thanks!!!

Tips for choosing a great business name

Keep it pronounceable

A good business name should be easy to say out loud and spell from memory. If you have to spell it out every time you say it, it will slow down word-of-mouth growth.

.com still beats clever TLDs

Despite hundreds of new extensions, .com remains the most trusted TLD for professional brands. Customers default to typing .com - pick a .com name whenever possible.

Avoid trademark traps

Before you register, run a quick trademark search to make sure the name is clear in your industry. Similar names in the same category can lead to costly disputes later.

Test it in a sentence

Say "I work at [name]" or "Check us out at [name].com" out loud. The name should sound natural, confident, and memorable in everyday conversation.
