The existing website is www.learntoparent.org which is much closer to what we actually do. Which is teach parenting classes to prevent child abuse. We hope to launch all of our classes on line in the next year or two, We go out in the community so center is not appropriate. Our tag line is " it should'nt hurt to be a child" name shoudl be more forward thinking than classes and parents Think of Ronald McDonal House or Halo House our classes are a bridge tp better home life

Naming tips for Non-profit

Keep it pronounceable

A good business name should be easy to say out loud and spell from memory. If you have to spell it out every time you say it, it will slow down word-of-mouth growth.

.com still beats clever TLDs

Despite hundreds of new extensions, .com remains the most trusted TLD for professional brands. Customers default to typing .com - pick a .com name whenever possible.

Avoid trademark traps

Before you register, run a quick trademark search to make sure the name is clear in your industry. Similar names in the same category can lead to costly disputes later.

Test it in a sentence

Say "I work at [name]" or "Check us out at [name].com" out loud. The name should sound natural, confident, and memorable in everyday conversation.
