Client brief
I am looking for a name for my to be established company that aims to provide leadership and debating courses to students. The courses will be centred on global issues (climate change, corruption, water scarcity in Africa, etc.), are highly experiential (i.e. learning by doing), and focus on critical thinking and collaborative and inclusive leadership. Although my main target audience will be students, in the future I may want to also address adults/companies, therefore I need a name that can appeal to all audiences. The name must be in English and must sound at least acceptable in Spanish (I'm not necessarily looking for a name that can be directly translated, but I don't want a name that can be misinterpreted either).
Main criteria:
- Ideally 1 word but certainly no more than 2
- Must be easily pronounceable in English (and ideally also in Spanish) and not too long
- Ideally includes some reference to the international nature of the courses, its transformative effect on students and/or its capacity to inspire students.
- Avoids referring exclusively to debating / leadership, as neither activity fully covers the range of activities my organisation would offer
I like words like catalyst, global, change, enlightenment, metaphors like a caterpillar becoming a butterfly (but ideally a bit less cliché), or combinations of words; anything that can clearly reflect the main focus or result of my courses without sounding too aspirational.
Good luck with suggesting names!

Tips for choosing a great business name
Keep it pronounceable
A good business name should be easy to say out loud and spell from memory. If you have to spell it out every time you say it, it will slow down word-of-mouth growth.
.com still beats clever TLDs
Despite hundreds of new extensions, .com remains the most trusted TLD for professional brands. Customers default to typing .com - pick a .com name whenever possible.
Avoid trademark traps
Before you register, run a quick trademark search to make sure the name is clear in your industry. Similar names in the same category can lead to costly disputes later.
Test it in a sentence
Say "I work at [name]" or "Check us out at [name].com" out loud. The name should sound natural, confident, and memorable in everyday conversation.
