An upbeat website that will provide resources, on-line support groups, forums, and recommend providers to individuals who have a connection to a person with a disability or Special Needs. It is a positive website intended to inform, provide hope, resources, current events relating to that community, provide opportunities to for people to connect with others with similar situations (raising a person with similar disability). Intended for parents, teachers or caregivers, we want to leave people with positive view, showing them that there are solutions. We also want to encourage people to not take life to seriously and know it is OK to laugh sometimes on this journey.
We want people to come together united under the common theme of caring for a special needs individual. We will be building the website around the theme of "Birds of a feather". Idea, that different disabilities..but one part ties us all together (love and hope for a better life for the ones we love).
CAN be a made up name if it is "catchy" and easy to spell .
