Client brief

I am in the process of rebranding my startup and have a few domains booked, but I am also open to other propositions. My company builds Web based software. We basically come up with ideas for web services, develop them and grow communities around them. We are a technology company at heart, but also care a great about Design, User Experience and social media which we leverage heavily to launch and grow online communities.

Some of the names we came up with: Prodacity, Prodeving, Booskoo, Webolio, EurekaDev, GameOnDev, Epitomio, Epicator, NetGrown.

I would like to get

  1. suggestions on which name to pick one from the list above if these are any good
  2. and/or, suggestions on new names which suit the brand better.

Thank you

Naming tips for Naming A Software Development Startup

Keep it pronounceable

A good business name should be easy to say out loud and spell from memory. If you have to spell it out every time you say it, it will slow down word-of-mouth growth.

.com still beats clever TLDs

Despite hundreds of new extensions, .com remains the most trusted TLD for professional brands. Customers default to typing .com - pick a .com name whenever possible.

Avoid trademark traps

Before you register, run a quick trademark search to make sure the name is clear in your industry. Similar names in the same category can lead to costly disputes later.

Test it in a sentence

Say "I work at [name]" or "Check us out at [name].com" out loud. The name should sound natural, confident, and memorable in everyday conversation.
