Client brief
Our web based application provides Project Management (free), Invoicing, CRM, Bug Tracking, Password Management, Wikis, and more. It is a platform that in concept it is similar to the iPhone... which by default comes with Phone, SMS, Email, Calendar, and once you start using it you go to the marketplace and start adding more applications on top of the platform to make it do what you are into. With our system you get Project Management tools (Todos, Discussions, Milestones, etc) and then you go to the marketplace to add more applications to fit your business needs.
Our tagline is "Your new online workplace". Our logo has a tree that is created by a set of humans (representing collaboration between people to grow a tree). Our typical users are smaller businesses, students, non-profits, open source projects, and hobbyists (camping, weddings, etc). The reason people switch to our system from any of the typical Project Management suspects is because we provide the ultimate simplicity for people coming from large enterprise software that is overly complicated, and we also provide full modular platform scalability to let you do so much more than any of our simplified competition (asana, basecamp).
The most important thing to us is that the name is easily used as a verb... and by this I mean someone can say in a sentence "Hey lets basecamp it" (warning basecamp is competitor) or "did you basecamp that?". It needs to be easy to pronounce and easy to remember (sticky factor).
So we are totally okay with abstract wording that means nothing but sounds good, and also extra points for things that have logical meaning.
And finally to emphasize because of our marketplace and the unlimited number of applications we can have inside we need to make sure the name is generic enough allowing people to not associate us with only project management. Also we definitely are okay with having the word tree in our name as it is in our logo that we are going to keep.

Tips for choosing a great business name
Keep it pronounceable
A good business name should be easy to say out loud and spell from memory. If you have to spell it out every time you say it, it will slow down word-of-mouth growth.
.com still beats clever TLDs
Despite hundreds of new extensions, .com remains the most trusted TLD for professional brands. Customers default to typing .com - pick a .com name whenever possible.
Avoid trademark traps
Before you register, run a quick trademark search to make sure the name is clear in your industry. Similar names in the same category can lead to costly disputes later.
Test it in a sentence
Say "I work at [name]" or "Check us out at [name].com" out loud. The name should sound natural, confident, and memorable in everyday conversation.
