Client brief
Background: Currently, there are two options for software testing: (1) manual testing and (2) complex / expensive automated testing. Our company has made Quality Assurance (QA) into a SaaS service (QAaaS). Automated software testing has existed for more than 10 years, but only really large companies use it because of its cost and complexity. IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, and HP all have automated test offerings, but some of these can cost ~$10,000 per seat per year. There are some smaller companies offering automated QA services, but their product basically requires you to hire them as consultants (ie, the outcome is pretty much the same as outsourcing your QA to be performed manually).
What is new: Our company is the first true QA as a product company. I like to explain that we have made it so simple that "your grandmother could do it." No coding is required. Any business person can use it because we've made it simple with an intuitive graphical user interface (ie, uses drag and drop screens). And, the price starts at $50 per month. This is perfect for any small company that want to automate their software testing or any large company that wants to augment their current capabilities with some quick ad-hoc automation. As a side benefit, because it is so simple to use... you can hire much cheaper resources to perform QA since they do not need to know how to code.
Our target market is:
- Businesses who are purely online (Facebook, Linkedin, Amazon, Google) but before they got big
- Any business that is actively building / maintaining a web app or mobile app
- Our target personas are: http://oi61.tinypic.com/dhcppu.jpg
To be specific, our QA product works only for Web or Mobile UI Functional (black box) regression testing.

Naming tips for Automated Software Testing Service
Keep it pronounceable
A good business name should be easy to say out loud and spell from memory. If you have to spell it out every time you say it, it will slow down word-of-mouth growth.
.com still beats clever TLDs
Despite hundreds of new extensions, .com remains the most trusted TLD for professional brands. Customers default to typing .com - pick a .com name whenever possible.
Avoid trademark traps
Before you register, run a quick trademark search to make sure the name is clear in your industry. Similar names in the same category can lead to costly disputes later.
Test it in a sentence
Say "I work at [name]" or "Check us out at [name].com" out loud. The name should sound natural, confident, and memorable in everyday conversation.
