Client brief

Looking to create a website that talks about all the latest consumer products, hot trendy things that people are craving, and new and upcoming products. Social discussion is also key, the site will let people broadcast their excitement and opinions of products they have or want to own. People can also share and recommend products to friends. UPDATE: I really want the name to emphasize the idea of broadcasting the things you like to others. Making your excitement for a particular item heard. Letting people express that they love a product or can't wait to get their hands on one. UPDATE: I'm liking words like "fire" "cast" "shout" because it evokes the idea of spreading excitement, maybe you can think of others like that. The shorter the better. Looking for a name thats catchy and fun to say. Prefer short words, easy to pronounce, real words.

Tips for choosing a great business name

Keep it pronounceable

A good business name should be easy to say out loud and spell from memory. If you have to spell it out every time you say it, it will slow down word-of-mouth growth.

.com still beats clever TLDs

Despite hundreds of new extensions, .com remains the most trusted TLD for professional brands. Customers default to typing .com - pick a .com name whenever possible.

Avoid trademark traps

Before you register, run a quick trademark search to make sure the name is clear in your industry. Similar names in the same category can lead to costly disputes later.

Test it in a sentence

Say "I work at [name]" or "Check us out at [name].com" out loud. The name should sound natural, confident, and memorable in everyday conversation.
