Client brief
I am launching a company that does many things, often in the same products we sell. The technology this company will sell is based on the colors or spectrums of light reaching the eye and re-illuminates or re-lights our environment to affect our biology, hormones, circadian rhythms, (I have the word rhythm).
Key anchors for the name are light and health. the company would offer light and darkness therapy. It represents a new way of looking at health, literally by how someone looks and the colors they see through special tinted glasses, light therapy boxes and other things to see their health in a new way. My target is people who have health issues and are tired of the drug route and want a natural solution to their issues.
The products will be for people with sleep, insomnia, jetlag, food cravings, binge eating, bipolar, cancer, neurological damage and other conditions. So with this being a "swiss army knife" company that does many things I may need to make up a name or have a broad name that can encompass various things. I am looking for a name that if you heard on the radio you could remember it and know how to spell it. Also preferable are names that are not super common with many millions of google hits. I do not like "wellness" as a name. Health at the end of a name sounds better. One or two word domains. The shorter the better.
The name should be positive, may or may not have latin or other language name roots and when you hear the name it should convey an emotion. Ideally the brand name would have architecture that could be expanded into other areas. So for example, just taking a name out of a hat if the base name was "Aero" and we had "AeroHealth.com" available we could have AeroLight ,AeroSync, AeroNight, AeroBright etc for other products or lines.
If there are two words in the domain, having the last one be "health" is good.
The Greek god Apollo is the god of both the sun and moon. A deity or other metaphor like that would be good.
