Client brief
OUR PURPOSE: To discover and share the stories behind many top video game stories. We focus on the human element / human story, as opposed to the news stories.
For example: We may or may not cover the launch of certain consoles. We will rarely give simply news - this happened. Instead, we interview developers, streamers, players, etc. to find their experience of a certain moment in the game, or their career in general.
For example: We wouldn't cover the fact that a certain card in the game Hearthstone got changed or nerfed. However, we would interview the team that developed the game to find out the story behind the card -> why it was created this way, what they think about it and how they see it fitting into the game itself.
Another example: We probably wouldn't cover the results of a tournament that just happened. However, we would interview one of the winning players and figure out how the final game was from his perspective, how he prepared and how he looks at this win in terms of his career.
A final example: We probably won't post many reviews. However, we will gladly post how a certain game has had an impact on the scope of games in general. Or interview the developers to find out what influenced them. Or figure out how / why the business model of this particular game impacts the scope of gaming or shows a knowledge / ignorance of the intended audience.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE: Gamers who want more than just the news from their news websites. Sites like IGN.com and Gamespot will give you reviews, sites like Kotaku will give you some insight, but we want to focus on the human element behind games, and the STORIES that rarely get published.
You often get news websites. You rarely get websites that go find compelling, interesting stories behind simple events in time.

Tips for choosing a great business name
Keep it pronounceable
A good business name should be easy to say out loud and spell from memory. If you have to spell it out every time you say it, it will slow down word-of-mouth growth.
.com still beats clever TLDs
Despite hundreds of new extensions, .com remains the most trusted TLD for professional brands. Customers default to typing .com - pick a .com name whenever possible.
Avoid trademark traps
Before you register, run a quick trademark search to make sure the name is clear in your industry. Similar names in the same category can lead to costly disputes later.
Test it in a sentence
Say "I work at [name]" or "Check us out at [name].com" out loud. The name should sound natural, confident, and memorable in everyday conversation.
