Client brief
We need a name for our investment firm, commonly referred to as Capital Managers. The first part of this name will also be used in relation to the investment fund the investment firm manages. Currently we are named the following YTG Capital Management Inc & YTG Market Neutral Fund Ltd. Considering YTG doesn’t mean anything to anyone we are looking to replace this with something of value.
Our strategy for the fund is one that generates positive returns for investors regardless of what the market does. It is a safe investment and the returns are steady. It is not a place to place all of one’s risk assets but more to compliment ones equity (stock) portfolio. Chart patterns (called technical analysis) and automated programs (called quantitative analysis) are where most of our ideas come from.
We are looking for a name that instills confidence, safety, trust, loyalty, knowledge, etc. It should be noted a lot of good names are already being used by other firms.
Lastly, the name should be one that other funds could be marketed under. (ex: XXXXX Fundamental Fund, etc)
