Marketing / Entrepreneurship Blog Name (Help me pick a brand)

Browse 149 name ideas from 14 naming experts, or describe your own idea to generate names instantly.

Client brief

Edit: Combine an animal with a marketing word. Try that as something different as the criteria I posted below wasn't really getting anything interesting.

I'm creating a blog about marketing / internet entrepreneurship / online business etc. I already earn a comfortable full time living online and this blog is focused around showing others how to do the same thing.

Help me pick a blog domain / branding that ideally does not sound spammy / scammy.

So no "make money online" style domain names.

Even if the name isn't keyword driven that's fine. Just something that sounds good and is ideally only 2 words or 3 words max (or one made up word). So a random brand example is like QuickSprout.com (a blog that is similar to the one I'm creating)

Bottom line: People need to be able to spell the domain without making a mistake and it needs to sound good. Also only .COM domains will be considered.

Tips for choosing a great business name

Keep it pronounceable

A good business name should be easy to say out loud and spell from memory. If you have to spell it out every time you say it, it will slow down word-of-mouth growth.

.com still beats clever TLDs

Despite hundreds of new extensions, .com remains the most trusted TLD for professional brands. Customers default to typing .com - pick a .com name whenever possible.

Avoid trademark traps

Before you register, run a quick trademark search to make sure the name is clear in your industry. Similar names in the same category can lead to costly disputes later.

Test it in a sentence

Say "I work at [name]" or "Check us out at [name].com" out loud. The name should sound natural, confident, and memorable in everyday conversation.
