Personal Information
Update your display name, bio, and profile picture from your account settings. Your display name appears on contest submissions and team workspaces.
Changing Your Email
To change your email address:
- Go to account settings
- Enter your new email address
- Verify the new address via the confirmation email
Your old email remains active until the new one is verified.
Security
Password
Your password must meet minimum security requirements. Use a strong, unique password that you don't use on other sites.
Changing Your Password
Change your password from the security section of your account settings. You'll need to enter your current password for verification.
Two-Factor Authentication
Add an extra layer of security with two-factor authentication (2FA). When enabled, you'll need both your password and a verification code from your authenticator app to sign in.
Notification Preferences
Email Notifications
Control which emails you receive:
- Product updates -- New features and improvements
- Account alerts -- Security notifications and billing reminders
- Contest notifications -- New submissions, ratings, and contest updates
- Tips and guides -- Naming tips and platform guides
Managing Preferences
Update your notification preferences from settings. You can enable or disable each notification category independently.
Connected Accounts
Google Sign-In
Connect your Google account for one-click sign-in. You can link or unlink Google from your account settings at any time.
Social Accounts
Connect social accounts to enhance your contributor profile and make it easier for contest holders to learn about your background.
Data and Privacy
Your Data
NameStation stores your projects, favorites, search history, and account information. We never sell or share your domain search data.
Exporting Data
Export your data from account settings. This includes your projects, favorites, and account information in a downloadable format.
Deleting Your Account
You can permanently delete your account from the account settings page. This action:
- Removes all your personal data
- Deletes your projects and favorites
- Cancels any active subscriptions
- Cannot be undone
