What is a Project?
A project is a container for your naming work. It holds your search history, saved favorites, settings, and notes -- everything related to a single naming effort.
Automatic Project Creation
When you start a new AI search, NameStation automatically creates a project to store your results. The project is named based on your search description and can be renamed later.
Manual Project Creation
You can also create projects manually from the Projects page. This is useful when you want to organize your work before starting searches.

- Availability status
- Date saved

Collaboration
Shared Projects
In a team workspace, projects are shared with all workspace members by default. Everyone can view, search, and add favorites to shared projects.
Personal vs Workspace Projects
- Workspace projects -- Visible to all team members, shared favorites
- Personal projects -- Only visible to you, even in a team workspace
Tips for Organization
- Use descriptive names -- "Q4 Product Launch - Fitness App" is better than "Project 1"
- One project per naming goal -- Don't mix unrelated naming efforts in the same project
- Archive completed projects -- Keep your active list clean
- Add descriptions -- Document requirements, constraints, and decisions for team reference
- Review favorites regularly -- Periodically revisit and prune your saved names
