Custom Wordlists

What are Wordlists?

Wordlists are collections of keywords that you can use across multiple generators. Instead of typing keywords each time, save them in a wordlist and select it when running any generator.

Wordlists are useful for:

• Batch processing -- Run the same keywords through different generators
• Themed collections -- Group words by theme (e.g., "tech terms," "nature words," "action verbs")
• Team sharing -- Share keyword collections across your workspace
• Consistency -- Ensure the same inputs across multiple search sessions

Creating a Wordlist

Step 1: Navigate to Wordlists

Go to Wordlists from the sidebar menu and click "New Wordlist."

Step 2: Add Words

You can add words in several ways:

• Type them -- Enter words one per line or comma-separated
• Paste a list -- Copy and paste from a spreadsheet or document
• Import a file -- Upload a .txt or .csv file

Step 3: Configure

Give your wordlist a descriptive name and optional description. The system automatically removes duplicates and sorts entries.

Using Wordlists with Generators

Selecting a Wordlist

In any generator that accepts keywords, look for the wordlist icon next to the keyword input. Click it to browse and select from your saved wordlists.

Combining Wordlists

Generators like Compound Words accept two keyword inputs. You can use a different wordlist for each slot:

Example Use Cases

• Industry + Actions -- Combine a list of industry terms with action verbs (e.g., "cloud, data, sync" + "hub, flow, leap")
• Adjectives + Nouns -- Pair descriptive words with core concepts (e.g., "bright, swift, bold" + "path, wave, core")
• Prefixes + Brand Words -- Mix common prefixes with brandable roots (e.g., "go, my, the" + "spark, nest, bloom")

Managing Wordlists

Editing

Open any wordlist to add, remove, or reorder words. Changes are saved automatically.

Organizing

Use descriptive names and descriptions to keep your wordlists organized. Consider a naming convention like "Project Name - Category" for team workspaces.

Duplicating

Duplicate an existing wordlist to create a variation without modifying the original. Useful for A/B testing different keyword sets.

Tips for Effective Wordlists

1. Keep lists focused -- 10-30 words per list works better than hundreds
2. Use single words -- Most generators work best with individual words, not phrases
3. Think in categories -- Separate words by type (nouns, verbs, adjectives) for flexible combining
4. Include synonyms -- Add multiple words for the same concept to increase variety
5. Update regularly -- Add new words as you discover them during searches
